MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA (RNN/WCSC) - Bill Cosby was arraigned Wednesday on a charge of aggravated indecent assault, a first-degree felony, in Pennsylvania.
The 78-year-old comedian posted $100,000 after a judge set a $1 million bail and left the courtroom after the brief hearing.
The charge is related to a 2004 sex crime case, said Kevin Steele, First Assistant District Attorney in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

The report was filed by a former Temple University athletic department employee who said Cosby attacked her in his home. Cosby met the alleged victim through her work with the Temple University women's basketball team.
In Pennsylvania, the law allows prosecutors to bring charges up to 12 years after some sex crimes. The statute of limitations would have run out in 12 days had prosecutors declined to press charges.
