Bond set at $205k for man accused in pursuit that ended in man's death

Bond was set at $205,000 for a 34-year-old man accused in a pursuit that ended with an 80-year-old man's death.

Casey Dervon Antwon Mack was in court Friday morning where he was charged with failure to stop for blue light and siren resulting in death, two counts of failure to stop resulting in great bodily injury and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Mack was booked into jail yesterday after being released from the hospital.

North Charleston police say on Dec. 15, Mack refused to stop for officers, and crashed into three cars, killing 80-year-old Caesar Weldon.

A judge denied bond for Mack on a charge of failure to stop for blue lights and sirens resulting in death.
