The Charleston Police Department is searching for suspects in connection to an armed robbery in downtown.
The robbery happened on the night of Dec. 27 when two victims were approached in front of 50 East Bay St. by a male suspect who was accompanied by a female suspect.
Police say the victims were robbed of their wallets.
The male suspect is described as a black male, 6'1", 180 pounds, and wearing a bandana. According to CPD officials, the suspect was armed with a handgun.
The second suspect is described as a black female, 5'4", short hair, heavyset, and wearing a long sleeved white shirt with dark writing on the sleeves.
