GEORGETOWN, SC (WCSC) - Police in Georgetown are searching for a man shown in surveillance photos taken during a bank robbery.

Police responded to the South State Bank at 1025 Church St., where witnesses say the robber passed a note demanding money.

The teller gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect then fled the scene in a black Dodge hatchback, witnesses told police.

Anyone with information on the robbery or who can identify the person in the image is asked to call the Georgetown Police Department at (843) 545-4300.
