LARGO, Fla. (WCSC) - A Yorkie puppy that was traded for crack cocaine in Florida was found safe on Wednesday.
"We did find her!" said Bridget Renee Royal, owner of the puppy."Someone bought her from someone and they took her to the vet where someone recognized her and called me."
The Dognapping was caught on camera at a popular pet store.
In the video, a man is seen shoving the puppy in his shirt.
According to police in Florida, the 9-week-old Yorkie was traded for crack and cash in a drug deal.
Authorities say the deal went down in the parking lot during the daytime in front of a busy grocery store in a packed parking lot.
