SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Lowcountry residents will have the chance to "Show Some Love" at a special benefit that supports abandoned and abused animals in Dorchester County.
The Frances R. Willis 16th Annual Downs Byrd Memorial Oyster Roast will take place on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Summerville Country Club.
This fun filled evening will include all you can eat oysters, chili, desserts and drinks, and a cash bar will also be available.
There will be a silent auction and live entertainment by DJ Wendall Nolan and the Double Naught Spies.
The Board of Directors and FRW SPCA staff will also have oyster knife sets available for purchase and a 2016 Downs Byrd Memorial Oyster Roast T-shirt.

The FRW SPCA serves the Town of Summerville and Dorchester County by housing and finding homes for lost, strayed, abused, or abandoned animals and prompting spaying and neutering. The shelter is open to the public Monday through Sunday (closed Wednesday) and is located on 136 Four Paws Lane, Summerville, SC just off Highway 78.
