CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A 41-year-old Charleston woman who had not been heard from since late September has been located, according to the sheriff's office.
The woman had been reported missing by her sister on Oct. 24, according to Charleston County Maj. Eric Watson.
Her sister told deputies she had not seen her sister for months and last received a text message from her on Sept. 25.
Investigators determined the woman had ties to North Charleston, downtown Charleston and Johns Island, as well as ties out of state including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Nevada, Illinois and Florida.
In a statement to the media Tuesday, Watson reported she had been found unharmed and in good health.
