More than 200 pounds of pork stolen from North Charleston restaurant

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - North Charleston police are investigating after a barbeque restaurant reported more than 200 pounds of meat was stolen from its property.

According to a police incident report, The Barbeque Joint, in Park Circle, reported that someone had taken three cases of pork and two cases of beer from behind the restaurant at about 8:30 Tuesday morning.  The cases of pork weighed 232 pounds.

The stolen items are valued at $350.
