A Charleston restaurant ranked among the top 100 places to eat in the nation according to the website Yelp.
Hall's Chophouse on King Street, which ranked 22nd place, was the only South Carolina restaurant to make Yelp's annual list.
A quick scan of reviews for the restaurant show 85 percent rate it at five stars, the highest rating a user can award.
Restaurants were ranked based on Yelp's user ratings, the number of reviews and popularity among the Yelp community.
The top spot went to a Burbank, California restaurant.
The next closest restaurant to Hall's Chophouse to make the list was Aviva by Kameel in Atlanta, which was ranked 23rd place.
Unlike 2015's list, which focused primarily on performance in recent years, this year's list looked at performance since the founding of Yelp in 2004.
