CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Donald Trump is dominating the Republican field in South Carolina, according to a new poll by the South Carolina House Republican Caucus.
The poll was taken Feb. 11th and 12th, and it shows Trump with 34.5% of the vote.
That compares to 15.5% for Sen. Ted Cruz, former Florida governor Jeb Bush with 13%, and Sen. Marco Rubio with 12.5% support.
Ohio Governor John Kasich came in fifth with 8.5%, followed by Dr. Ben Carson with 5%.
Eleven percent remain undecided before the state's Feb. 20th Republican primary.
The poll says Trump wins in all categories including among self-described conservatives, moderates, independents and libertarians.
The South Carolina House Republican Caucus poll surveyed 1,200 likely Republican primary voters from Feb. 11 – 12.
