Drug bust in Georgetown County leads to four arrests

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - An effort by Georgetown County to crack down on heroin related offenses paid off this earlier this week.

Agents with the 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office, made several drug related arrests on February 17 as part of a stepped up enforcement effort related heroin use and distribution.

A one month investigation, based partly on citizen complaints about heroin use and distribution, led to a search at 555 Robinson Road in Georgetown.

Agents arrested four people and found multiple pills and paraphernalia related to drug use and distribution.

Arrested with charges:

  • Terry Sue Bone, DOB 01/06/1962, 1 count Conspiracy to Distribute Heroin and 1 count of Distribution of Schedule IV Drugs.
  • Dustin David Ward, DOB 08/18/1996, 1 count Possession of Schedule IV Drugs and 1 count Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs.
  • Darren Chase Lambert, DOB 09/06/1989, 1 count Possession of Marijuana.
  • Julius Robert Kirkland, DOB 07/22/1981, Outstanding Georgetown County Bench Warrant.

The 15th Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit, Georgetown Office, is funded by a SC Department of Public Safety grant.
