NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Sen. Marco Rubio held a final rally in North Charleston Friday, making a last attempt to woo undecided voters and rally supporters before Saturday's Republican primary.
A crowd of more than 300 gathered at Stall High School to hear the Florida senator speak alongside Gov.Nikki Haley and Sen.Tim Scott.
Rubio said Saturday is a big day, and he knows voters have a big choice to make.
He said he's the candidate to unite the Republican party, and he's the one to beat the Democrats in the general election.
Gov. Haley announced her endorsement of Sen. Rubio on Wednesday and spent the day traveling with Rubio and Sen. Tim Scott across the state.
The team visited Columbia before making a North Charleston stop and is expected in Clemson and Pawley's Island Friday evening.
Rubio said voters have the chance to change the course of the nation and be "the generation that authored the greatest chapter in the story of America."
"This is the generation that authored a new American century," Rubio said. "I need your vote."
