(WCSC) - This weekend's 5 Around Town has options for everyone, whether they want to take in a show with amazing acrobatics, celebrate "Mardi Crawl" in the beautiful weekend weather, or go "Above and Beyond" at an aerospace exhibition.
Above and Beyond Flight Exhibition
Go above and beyond in a new exhibition at the Gaillard Center downtown Charleston.
This 5,000-square-foot traveling aerospace exhibition features: immersive simulations, interactive design challenges, visionary concepts for the future, and inspiring stories from game-changing innovators, past and present.
Admission to the exhibition is free, courtesy of Boeing.
Above and Beyond runs through March 13 between Tuesday and Sunday
12th Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek
The Annual Mardi Crawl on Shem Creek is back this weekend, and it's all for a good cause.
You can crawl to five different Shem Creek bars for games, food, drink specials, live music, and more.
You can register on Saturday for 30 dollars and the money raised will benefit Pet Helpers, the Alzheimer's Association of South Carolina, and other Lowcountry charities.
Over the past 11 years, Mardi Crawl has raised more than $100,000.
Registration for the crawl begins at noon and the crawl begins at 1pm.
TORUK-The First Flight
Experience the sights and sounds of the cirque Du Soleil this weekend at the North Charleston Coliseum!
TORUK-The First Flight provides an interactive experience for people of all ages and is inspired by James Cameron's award winning movie, "Avatar"
The show will take you through a magical land with characters that are sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Parking at the Coliseum is five dollars and tickets are still available at various prices. Shows run through Sunday.
