Explore County Parks for free on 'Customer Appreciation Day'

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Everyone is invited to enjoy the outdoors during Customer Appreciation Day at Charleston County Parks!

On Sunday, March 6, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission will thank its visitors by offering free admission to many popular park facilities.

Parks waiving admission fees on March 6 will include:

  • James Island County Parks
  • North Charleston Wannamaker
  • Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands
  • Ravenel Caw Caw Interpretive Center

Parking will be free all day at Kiawah Beachwalker Park, Isle of Palms County Park, and Folly Beach County Park.

Free fishing will be offered at the Folly Beach Pier and the Mount Pleasant Pier.

The public is also invited to come check out two of Charleston County Parks' newest properties, Laurel Hill County Park in Mount Pleasant and McLeod Plantation Historic Site on James Island. Both locations will be open for free on March 6 as well.

Select parks will also offer free activities March 6.

While in the parks on March 6, visitors can also register for a chance to win a Charleston County Parks' Gold Pass membership, which grants free admission into ten park facilities and select special events.
