NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Crews with the Red Cross are assisting a family of five following a mobile home fire in North Charleston on Tuesday.
North Charleston fire officials say the incident happened in the 2000 block of Orvid Street around 3 p.m.
"First in fire units reported smoke and flames coming from the home," NCFD officials said."It took approximately 10 minutes to control the fire at the home that housed a family of five."
According to authorities, one firefighter was transported for a shoulder injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
