CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Today, downtown Charleston is celebrating all things Irish!
You can head out to the Charleston St. Patrick's Day Parade at 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
It starts at the corner of Radcliffe and St. Philip streets, but the best place to view is from King Street.
According to the parade's website, the procession will turn right onto King Street and proceed south toward Broad, where it turns right and finishes at the Catholic Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Officials say parts of Radcliffe, King, and Broad streets will be closed starting around 9 a.m.
Mass will also be held at 8 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church on St. Philip Street.
An Irish Flag will be raised over Charleston City Hall at 11:30 a.m.
