CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The search for a missing Charleston man is over, according to authorities.
Charleston Police say James Matthew Bass has been located and he is safe.
Bass, 37, was last seen at the Holiday Inn Express at 250 Spring St. in downtown Charleston at approximately 9 p.m. by his father, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.
Bass may be driving a white 2005 Volvo S-60 with South Carolina tags FPX470.
Bass's cell phone last pinged in the area of Island Park and Iron Bottom Lane on Daniel Island on Thursday, Francis said.He is 5'10" and weighs approximately 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
