NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - More than 7500 Boeing workers at the North Charleston plant are safe from job cuts.

Those cuts are happening at its plant in Washington state.

A spokeswoman for the North Charleston plant says it doesn't anticipate any layoffs here, and that they will cover business needs with temporary and contract workers.

Boeing has already seen an increase in business as the first Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner will be undergoing final assembly at the North Charleston plant.
