BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Berkeley County authorities are currently investigating a fatal accident from last night involving three vehicles.
Around 10:30 p.m. the driver of a 2005 Ford SUV ran a stop sign on Longstreet St at 17A near Goose Creek.
The SUV was hit by a 2003 Ford F-150 Driven by Spencer Rouark of Summerville. Rourke was not injured. Two passengers in the truck with him sustained minor injuries and were taken to Trident in North Charleston. Everyone in the F-150 was wearing their seatbelt.
The impact of the collision between the F-150 and the SUV caused the SUV to hit another vehicle, a 2014 BMW SUV driven by Rene Garay. The driver was wearing their seatbelt and was not injured.
The driver of the 2005 Ford SUV, 25 year old Jasmine Reid of Summerville, was pronounced dead on the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt and was only a few blocks from her home.
