POWDERSVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Miracle Hill Ministries will break ground Tuesday on a huge new thrift store in Powdersville.

The groundbreaking ceremony will be at 10 a.m. at the construction site, located at the intersection of Three Bridges Road and Highway 153.

The 23,000 square foot store will be the first to be constructed specifically for Miracle Hill Ministries. Officials said the eight other thrift stores in the Upstate were installed in existing structures.

The Powdersville store is expected to open in fall 2016.

Miracle Hill has served the Upstate since 1937, providing food, shelter, clothing, personal development, addiction recovery support, and residential and foster care for children.
