The Coast Guard and North Charleston Police aided Sea Tow with a boat that may have gotten stuck on the Cooper River.

Coast Guard officials said two of their units were assisting a boat that hit an object submerged in the water.

Four people were reported to be on the boat.

An official with the Charleston Fire Department said the boat may have gotten stuck on some wood pilings.
