A user-friendly website building service is helping people create professional websites and grow online business for free.

Weebly is hitting the road with a two week tour across the Southeast and one stop is Charleston on Tuesday. It's called the "Weebly Like a Boss Tour."

This tour is aimed to empower entrepreneurs to start a business and become their own boss at any age. It's also for anyone looking to create an online platform whether it's for a church group, sports team or for personal branding.

These websites have helped local business with a platform including the owner of The Cultured Pearl of Charleston, Sherrie Driver.

"I am my only employee I work from home," Driver said.

Driver is also her own boss.

"I'm a nurse by education, I'm not a jeweler, but I love pearls," she said.

She has a passion for pearls that grew after traveling to the pearl markets in China. A business strategy and a Weebly website followed and it lead to the start of her now growing business.

"The platform itself is easy to learn, it's almost like playing a game," she said. "I have greatly enjoyed the surprise of getting and email saying, you've sold some pearls!"

More people in Charleston can now get that joy too. The Weebly website hosting team is teaching website building basics like creating a homepage and navigating the website builder.

"I had a lot of friends asking me to bring pearls back to them and I thought well I could turn this into a little business," she said.

The workshops will also teach you how to bring traffic to your site through Google searches and email marketing. Driver says she sends shipments across the country of her pearls.

"If I never made a website with Weebly I would never have been shipping to those customers," Driver said.

Photographers will also be taking free headshots. By the end of the day attendees will be able to leave with a website and you'll have one-one-one time with experts for review.

"If you have an idea don't discount it, go ahead and try to pursue it you never know where it's going to lead," Driver said.

The Weebly Like a Boss Bus Tour will be at the Bay Street Biergarten Tuesday from noon to 4 p.m. in an outdoor tent.

People who attend the event will be entered in a drawing to win $1,000 to launch their idea online.
