Six men arrested following Williamsburg County theft ring bust

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) -

Investigators have arrested six men following a theft ring bust in Williamsburg County. 

The arrests stems from an operation on April 4 when investigators traveled to a business,"Insane Graphics," on 1499 Highway 41/51 South in Hemingway to serve warrants, and arrested George Slade Taylor for numerous narcotics distribution warrants. 

Officials with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office say they conducted a two year investigation concerning a possible theft ring in the county. 

"During the process of the investigation an assortment of merchandise was stolen from surrounding counties, and were sold at Insane Graphics to include the business known as Bryan’s in Hemingway, South Carolina," WCSO officials said. "Bryan Walters along with Nicki Cribb sold some of the stolen merchandise online to numerous customers."

Investigators say they were able to recover stolen merchandise and numerous firearms.

The following people were arrested in the operation: 

Subject: Bryan Eugene Walter, age 45, of 2391 Ray Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410) to include Receiving stolen goods, value $2,000 or less (S.C. Code Section 16-13-0180(A).

Subject: Nicki Louis Cribb, age 68, of 49 Scott Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410) to include Receiving stolen goods, value $2,000 or less (S.C. Code Section 16-13-0180(A).

Subject: George Slade Taylor, age 43, of 1499 Highway 41/51 South, Hemingway, S.C. 29554 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of Drugs / MDP, Narcotic drugs in Sch. I (b) & (c), LSD, and Sched. II (Cocaine)- 1st offense (S.C. Code Section 44-53-0370(B)(1), two counts of Receiving stolen goods, value $2,000 or less (S.C. Code Section 16-13-0180(A), Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410), and one count of Weapons / Sale or Delivery of pistol to, and possession by, certain persons unlawful, stolen (S.C. Code Section 16-23-0030, 0050.

Subject: Anson Andy Stone, Jr, age 38, of 439 West County Line Road, Hemingway, S.C. 29554 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410).

Subject: James Glenn McDaniel, age 42, of 154 North 1st Neck Road Johnsonville, S.C. 29555 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410).

Subject: Edward Ty Daniels, age 34, of 509 North New Hope Road, Johnsonville, S.C. 29555 was arrested and charged by the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office with Conspiracy / Criminal Conspiracy, Common Law Conspiracy Defined (S.C. Code Section 16-17-0410).

All suspects are currently out on bond from the Williamsburg County Detention Center. 

The investigation continuing.
