CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say the suspect in an April 14 shooting in downtown Charleston has been arrested.
Mark Lee Frasier, 24, was wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis.
Police responded to a shooting reported at approximately 11 a.m. on April 14 in the 2,200 block of Birdie Garrett Street in the Rosemont neighborhood.
One male victim was taken to MUSC with a gunshot wound to the arm, Francis said.
Frasier was named a suspect in the shooting the following day according to a release from the police department.
The US Marshals Task Force and North Charleston Police arrested Frasier Thursday in North Charleston, Francis said.
