A 10-year-old girl was struck by a pick-up truck in Goose Creek Friday afternoon.
Goose Creek police officials say the incident happened in the area of Amy Drive near Judy Drive.
"The investigation revealed that the pedestrian attempted to cross Amy Dr. and entered the path of the pick-up truck as it was traveling on Amy Dr.," GCPD officials said.
Police say the girl was transported to MUSC for treatment of injuries believed to be non-life threatening.
According to authorities, no charges will be filed in the case.
