NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police are investigating a Friday afternoon shooting that sent one man to the hospital.
Officers responded to the 2600-block of Madden Street where a shooting had been reported and found a man with a gunshot wound to his arm, according to North Charleston Police spokesman Spencer Pryor.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.
"The victim was uncooperative with officers," Pryor said in a statement.
Dispatchers said a call about a possible shooting on Madden Drive came in just before 5 p.m.
A witness who lives nearby reported hearing several "pops."
Pryor says the incident remains under investigation.
