BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Officials with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office say a joint operation led to 33 warrants served.
According to authorities, CCSO deputies, along with Berkeley County deputies and SLED agents participated in an operation to serve Charleston Co. warrants in Berkeley County.
The operation led to the following:
- 17 people arrested
- 33 warrants served
-Magistrate Bench Warrants- 15
-Violation Check Law Warrants- 10
-General Sessions (felony) Bench Warrants- 2
-Family Court Bench Warrants- 3
-Courtesy Summons- 3
- 1 narcotics violation arrest (BCSO)
- Several people who were sought but not located voluntarily agreed to turn themselves in to CCSO.
- 6 subjects determined to be deceased or incarcerated in Federal system
According to the sheriff's office, the operation consisted of 26 Charleston County Sheriff's deputies, detectives and supervisors. 14 Berkeley County Sheriff's deputies, detectives and supervisors 3 SLED agents
