BCSO officials say Hardwick was in possession of 535 grams of marijuana.
Hardwick's April 20 arrest stems from an investigation the day before when deputies were investigating a complaint about illegal narcotics in the area of Cane Bay.
A report states deputies located different types of supplies to produce marijuana as well as over $15,000 at Hardwick's home.
"Mr. Hardwick was given a bond hearing and given a $3,000 surety bond on the first charge and a $5,000 surety bond on the second charge," BCSO officials said."He was also put on hold for the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office for a family court bench warrant. After a surety bond was posted, he was transferred to the CCSO."
