Two suspects charged in Murrells Inlet armed robbery

The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office has charged Jamaine Donnell Wilson and Lauren Rochelle Tucker in connection with an armed robbery.

According to authorities, at 9:30 a.m. on April 22 Georgetown County Sheriff's Deputies responded to 4794 Wesley Road in the Murrells Inlet Community to the report of an armed robbery.

Officials say one suspect entered the residence and inquired about possible employment. Then the suspect presented what appeared to be a firearm and struck the victim several times.

The suspect then demanded money from the victim and forced the victim to move throughout the residence searching for valuables.

The victim was able to escape from the suspect.

A witness claimed to have seen the suspect exit the residence and flee in a 4 door Toyota vehicle that was tan in color with a female suspect in the passenger seat.

The victim saw and identified the suspect on television after he was arrested in Horry County.

Jamaine Donnell Wilson, whose last known address was 3200 Della Road in Longs, South Carolina, is charged with one count of Kidnapping, one count of Possession of weapon during violent crime, one count of Armed Robbery, and one count of Assault and Battery First Degree.

Lauren Rochelle Tucker, whose last known address was 805 West Airline Avenue in Gastonia, North Carolina, is charged with one count of Armed Robbery.

Wilson and Tucker are currently being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center on unrelated charges.
