GOOSE CREEK, SC - Goose Creek police officers are looking for a suspect after an armed robbery that resulted with a man taking two bags of money holding over $2,700 and fleeing to a wooded area in the Crowfield area.

According to an incident report, a man and a woman had just arrived at their home on Norfolk Way when a man approached them and took the two bags, in addition to an external hard drive, a floppy disk inside a yellow envelope and a blue bag with the name Sysco printed on it around 9:55 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.

The two victims own a store on Remount Road. One of the victims said she heard a sudden uproar outside of her car while a relative was collecting bags from the back seat. According to the incident report, she heard her relative scream.

A man then tried to grab the two bags from the front passenger seat where the female victim was sitting, and the victim struggled with the suspect.

The female victim said she heard her relative say the suspect had a gun and she released the bags.

Officers believe the suspect fled through a nearby wooded area.
