NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a 56-year-old Moncks Corner man accused of an armed robbery at a North Charleston Starbucks.
The US Marshals Task Force arrested Alfred Singleton on Monday.
His arrest stems from an incident on April 30 at a Starbucks at the Target on Rivers Avenue.
A Starbucks employee said she was closing for the night when a man walked up and asked for a Big Mac and fries.
The employee laughed and said if she did she would be eating it too.
Police say when she turned around and came back to the register, the suspect said,"Give me everything in the drawer or I'll shoot you."
According to an incident report, the suspect patted at his waist as if he had a weapon under his shirt.
Authorities say after the employee handed the suspect the money, he told her,"Don't tell anyone or I'll shoot you. Lay on the ground or I'll shoot you."
