NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Authorities with the North Charleston Police Department are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a subject related to an armed robbery.
Officers responded to a report on an armed robbery at 8120 Rivers Avenue on May 2 around 6:50 a.m.
Witnesses told authorities that the suspect came into the store and purchased a drink, walked out, then came back in with a gun and demanded money and lottery tickets.
The clerk gave the suspect around $150.00 and forty-six $10 scratch-offs.
After ordering the clerk to the ground the suspect fled the scene.
Authorities say the suspect is a skinny black male around 5'5" tall with long dreadlocks and facial hear. He was wearing a dark blue shirt, jeans, and Timberland boots.
