MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Rifle Range Road between Bowman and Harborgate Shores in Mount Pleasant was reopened Tuesday after officers searched for two people they said fled from a traffic stop.

According to a tweet from the agency, the two fled on foot in the area of Scott's Creek and Chelsea Park.

One was detained and is not facing charges. The driver of the vehicle has not been found, but has been identified, the Mount Pleasant Police Department says.
