Attempted murder suspect surrenders to Charleston police

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - An attempted murder suspect has surrendered to Charleston investigators.

Officials with the Charleston Police Department say 29-year-old Eric Jerome Robinson is in custody after he turned himself in at police headquarters on Monday.

Robinson is wanted for attempted murder, attempted armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis said.

Robinson is wanted in an incident Thursday on the 40 block of Poinsett Street.
