Officers seek public's help identifying suspect in series of car break-ins

HANAHAN, SC (WCSC) - The Hanahan Police Department is asking for the public's help identifying a suspect after several cars in a Hanahan neighborhood were broken into.

According to a statement from the police department, after investigating several reports of car break-ins in the Dominion Hills neighborhood on May 16, it was determined that a credit card was stolen from one of the vehicles.

A suspect was later recorded using the card at a store.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Hanahan Police Department at 843-747-5711 or call Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.

Officers say all the vehicles broken into were unlocked.
