Charleston Police say the area of East Bay and Cooper Streets has reopened to traffic after an accident earlier forced them to shut down the roadway.
The accident involved a private bus and a bicyclist, Charleston Police spokesman Charles Francis said.
The cyclist was taken to MUSC after the crash, but there was no immediate word on the extent of injuries.
The accident was reported shortly after 9:30 p.m. The area reopened to traffic shortly before 11 p.m.
