ORANGEBURG, SC (WCSC) - An Orangeburg man was denied bond on a charge of attempted murder after deputies say he shot at an occupied home.
Darrin Harrison, 23, made his first court appearance on Wednesday to face charges of attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a crime, according to Orangeburg County Sheriff's spokesman Richard Walker.
Orangeburg County Magistrate Rob Clariday denied bond on the attempted murder charge. Bond was set at $5,000 for the weapons charge.
On May 20 Orangeburg County deputies were called to a home on Oates Street where residents said a man got out of a white vehicle and began shooting at the home, Walker said.
Police found four bullet holes were found in the front door after residents said they heard "four or five" shots fired.
No one was injured in the shooting.
Investigators located a white vehicle matching the description of the shooter's vehicle on Whittaker Parkway. The vehicle had been abandoned after being wrecked.
The investigation is ongoing, Walker said.
