Bond set for man accused of threatening to shoot people at party

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A man accused of pointing a gun at several people is waking up behind bars Thursday.

Charleston police say they arrested 26-year-old Michael Nesbitt, Jr. Wednesday afternoon after he brandished a gun and threatened to shoot several people in West Ashley.

The incident occurred Monday at approximately 2:30 p.m. at a party on the 2400 block of Etiwan Avenue, police say.

His bond has been set at $50,000 for five counts of pointing a firearm.
