CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The votes have been tallied and there's going to be run off for one state senate district.
Sandy Senn and Roy Maybank will be facing off again for District 41's seat.
It's down to two local lawyers.
Sandy Senn is coming out of the race tonight with about 40 percent of the votes. Roy Maybank snagged closer to 23 percent but still neither could get a majority of the vote.
There were four Republicans running for this position. It's a seat being vacated by Sen. Paul Thurmond.
Infrastructure is a big concern for both remaining candidates, but they're for different opinions about moving forward with a way to fix our roads.
District 41 covers James Island, West Ashley and part of North Charleston.
The run off election will be on June 28.
