Summerville fugitive wanted for more than a decade captured by deputies, marshals

BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Authorities have arrested a Summerville man who was wanted by the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office for more than a decade.

According to BCSO officials, deputies along with the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task force arrested Eric James Jobe on Wednesday.

Authorities say Jobe is accused of assaulting and threatening to shoot another person in the head during an altercation which took place in July of 2004.

"Jobe left SC and was found to recently have returned," BCSO authorities said."Once apprehended, Jobe was transported and booked on the charge of Assault and Battery of a High and Aggravated Nature pending a bond hearing tomorrow at 9 am."
