SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Sullivan's Island posted an advisory on Thursday that an alligator was spotted in the water near the Sand Dunes Club and Station 19.

According to officials, the gator was moving toward Breach Inlet.

Experts say alligators are fresh water creatures and cannot survive in salt water.
