CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department needs your help finding two suspects who appear to be proficient with pickpocketing.

According to authorities a woman sat down by herself at Panera Bread at 145 Calhoun Street on June 6 around 12:20 p.m.

After sitting down, the victim took a phone call while hanging her purse on her chair. While she was on the phone two men sat down behind her.

After leaving Panera, she noticed the credit cards were missing. She returned to Panera and asked for the security camera footage.

After watching the footage, within about a minute or two the suspect in pink used a black jacket to conceal his arm while he reached into her purse and stole her wallet while she was still sitting in her chair.

He then went through the wallet and stole 2 credit cards, before putting the wallet back.

The suspects then left the area and went to Citadel Mall where they used the credit cards for purchases totaling over $3000.

Anyone with information can call Consolidated Dispatch at 843 743 7200 and ask for the on-duty CPD detective.
