GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - A one-stop shop for information on benefits and services for veterans and their families takes place this week in the tri-county.
The Charleston Vet Center is hosting a Veteran Benefits and Information event in Goose Creek at the following date, time and location.

Veterans and their family members are invited to come out to get information on the services available at both the Charleston Vet Center and The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center. Vet Center staff will be available to discuss readjustment and transitional
needs, and to connect Veterans to VA and community resources.
Charleston VA Medical Center's Minority Veterans Program Coordinator and Transition & Care Management Coordinator will be in attendance as well as SC Legal Services and SC Works Veteran Representatives to answer questions and assist Veterans, according to a news release.
Veterans are highly encouraged to bring a copy of their DD214 (discharge paperwork) to assist in determining eligibility for services. All available services support Veterans in making positive readjustment from military to civilian life.
