Dolly Parton scheduled to make tour stop in the Lowcountry

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - An award-winning recording artist is making a stop in the Lowcountry.

Dolly Parton will be in concert at the North Charleston Coliseum on Friday, November 18.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., according to the North Charleston Coliseum and Performing Arts Center website. Tickets costing $55, $75 and $125 will be available starting Friday.

Parton has sold over 100 million records worldwide and has won seven Grammy awards, ten Country Music Association Awards, five Academy of Country Music Awards and three American Music Awards.

"We're so excited to get out there and see the fans again," Parton wrote on her website. "I'm really looking forward to singing songs the fans have not heard in a while, as well as the hits, while debuting a few new ones off Pure & Simple."
