NORTH CHARLESTON - (WCSC) - Teachers, small business owners and nonprofit leaders are gathering for the 4th annual GoogleFest conference this week.
The two-day annual event offers free workshops at Trident Tech, June 21-22. Tuesday's seminars are geared toward education and include workshops on creating excitement around tech in schools and using Google in the classroom.
Wednesday's sessions for GoogleFest focus on small businesses and non-profits. Workshops will include topics such as website design, building a brand with YouTube and Google analytics, tips and tricks.
Berkeley County is home to one of Google's seven data centers in the United States. The center is more than a $1.2 billion investment for the company.
GoogleFest is free and open to everyone. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Workshops are from 9 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. both days. For more information and to register, click here.
