GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities are searching for the people responsible for stealing a trailer with a fertilizer tank rig in Goose Creek.

Goose Creek police say the trailer is a 2009 Currahee 5'X10' single axle trailer that was stolen on June 7 from the Extra Space Storage on 427 St. James Avenue.

The investigation started on June 20 when officers responded to the business for a larceny.

The victim told police that someone had stolen the trailer which was at a parking space which he rents from Extra Space Storage.

According to the report, the victim had discovered the property stolen earlier in the month but was unable to file a report due to a busy schedule.

An employee provided surveillance footage which showed a black and blue older model Chevrolet pick-up truck entering the business on June 7 at 8:03 a.m.

A half hour later, the same truck is then seen leaving the business with the victim's property.

Investigators say there was apparent damage on the driver's side door panel of the truck.

If you have any information on the suspects or the location of the truck or trailer you are asked to call Inv. McWilliams at (843) 863-5200 or Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111 and refernce OCA 2016-2988.
