Fatal hit and run in Orangeburg County under investigation

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information about a fatal Hit and Run collision in which a pedestrian was struck by possibly two vehicles that left the scene.

The hit and run took place on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at approximately 1:00 a.m. on US-176 near Joy Drive in Orangeburg County.

Authorities believe one of the vehicles involved is a 2007-2010 Toyota Camry car.

The vehicle may have front bumper and undercarriage damage. The exact color of the vehicle is currently unknown.

The other vehicle involved is unknown at this time.
