CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - History buffs were able to sample a glimpse of the Lowcountry's past Saturday.
The fourth annual Magnolia Gardens History Fair celebrated their history with tons of informational events.
The History Fair is a collection of well-known organizations in education, religion, social services, the arts and tourism, including Charleston Museum, America's first museum.
This included the Chronicles of Adam, the story of an enslaved man in South Carolina, a presentation on West African cultures, and a special presentation on John Bartram who is considered "the father of American botany."
Magnolia Plantation was founded in 1676.
This history fair continues through Monday.
