MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - A man faces multiple charges and a bond of over $126,000 after a double hit-and-run on Highway 17 in Mount Pleasant.
Police believe Drequan Lockwood hit two motorcyclists and fled the scene around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Officers found Lockwood along with several motorcyclists on Highway 17 and Venning Road. The motorcyclists pointed Lockwood out as the person who hit two of them while driving.
Lockwood said he was going to stop, but didn't and the motorcyclists started chasing after him.
He also revealed he a gun under the drivers' seat. According to the incident report, the gun was stolen.
He has been charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an injury, driving under suspension, unlawful carrying of a firearm, having a stolen gun and failing to comply with the Non-Resident Violator Compact.
No word on the extent of the victims' injuries.
