Lowcountry kicks off 'grab-and-go" summer meals program

WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Lowcountry's Food Bank has kicked off their free "grab-and-go" summer meals program for children in the Greeleyville area.

The program delivers breakfast and lunch throughout the summer to local community areas like school and centers.

The goal of the program is to help families stretch their resources and encourage children to eat healthy meals this summer so that they return to school ready to learn.

The program ends August 12.
